London Business School (LBS) is a leader in the field of business education; top-ranked for its programmes by Bloomberg Businessweek and the Financial Times; with a faculty acclaimed for its academic excellence and industry experience; a student body drawn from all continents; a campus alive with student and alumni clubs, professional and social events that will build your network and enrich your world view and personal development.
LBS also offers the Sloan Fellowship Programme for experienced business executives, Masters in Finance (also known as MiF, a finance specialist programme), Masters in Management for students with less than a year's work experience, a PhD, as well as non-masters programmes for business executives.
Over 2,000 students from 100 countries graduate from the School each year and a further 10,000 executives attend open and custom programmes served by the Executive Education Team.
Surrounding your core studies is a host of complementary activities. You benefit from a mentoring scheme provided by MBA and MiF students and alumni working in the world’s top organisations. School events are largely student-organised, with conferences attracting globally recognised speakers from politics and finance to sport and entertainment, who share their insights on business, success and leadership.
The Career Centre is there to support you as you define your goals and prepare for your job search. You’ll take forward a plan for your personal development that gives you the practical and soft skills you need to succeed in business. Career events throughout the year attract leading recruiters and global companies, such as American Express, Google, McKinsey & Company and Amazon.
There is no accommodation on campus for students in full-time programmes, although there are rooms on-campus for visiting faculty and executive education participants. Most students choose to live in nearby private residential buildings or in students’ halls of residence such as the International Students’ House, London.
The London Business School campus is next to Regent's Park in Marylebone and overlooks a lake, allowing students to enjoy some of London's most beautiful views.
London Business School maintains a number of facilities, including a sports centre, a restaurant, two cafes and a library that are dedicated for the exclusive use of students. A privately run pub is also attached to the campus.
